LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City Officially Opens Train Station Adventure

Kansas City, Missouri – LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City has officially opened Train Station Adventure on May 12, 2017. Train Station Adventure, a $1 million addition to the Crown Center attraction, is the first major renovation since opening in 2012.

Replacing the current LEGO City soft play area, Train Station Adventure allows kids to climb, slide, jump and roll around train obstacles and even take control in the conductor’s chair. Families can even use their imaginations to build their own LEGO® trains together and then test it on the tracks through the famous buildings of Kansas City.

The centerpiece of the new area will include a LEGO clock tower, designed and built by LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s Master Model Builder, Joe Nunnink.

“Train Station Adventure further enhances LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s mission to drive a child’s imagination and creativity,” said Nick Miller, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City. “By adding this new feature inside our attraction, we are giving more opportunities for area families to learn and play together.”
